Who is a Christean, but still loves Twilight?

Twilight isnt real so how can it be a sin? If anything the Twilight series promotes love and devotion...(sure sure some people will have a problem with the whole undead vampire thing) and in Breaking Dawn...they totally promote marriage before sex. Maybe your leader needs to read the books. :)

i'm actully mormon but mormons are part of the christain religion . and i totally agree with you that you can still the the twilight series and also love the lord at the same time . i think your old youth group leader just wanted you to focus on read only religious books well your youth group leader probly didn't know that the author who wrote the twilight series is a religious type of person and she' s a mormon on top of that so stepanie wouldn't write any kind of books with bad language or too much details about sex stuff . even though in breaking dawn does mention bella and edward doing that kind of thing but they wait till there married so it's a different story.

Well, I'm not Christian (I'm actually Agnostic / borderline Atheist), but I know a lot of people who are Christian and still love it.

I don't think anyone should tell you what you can and cannot read. Religion doesn't really have anything to do with that. Plus, reading Twilight isn't hurting anyone, so how is it a sin?

But I'm a Christian and I like Twilight, infact I'm team Edward. My parents don't neccesarily like Twilight and aren't too thrilled about me liking it but they've gotten over it.

I love God with all my heart, me being a huge fan of twilight does not make me less of a Christean...

I'm a Christean and love Twilight. If you know it's not real, you don't practice what you read in the books then it shouldn't be a big deal.(That's what I've been told.)

im a devoted Christian. i dont think its a big deal. i mean its just a teen love story. its not like witch craft. i guess vampires are kinda bad cause the eat blood thing but its not even about that. its mainly focused on a cute romance. i just dont get too into the vampire mania. cause then it gets freaky.....

Yes, i think you can be a christian and still like twilight. it's not wrong to like other things. as long as you don't get too involved.
